Part One; The Begining

Rasta, the founder of MECH, activated the Empire in an AOL game called Neverwinter Nights (NWN). The Empire grew under his command. Later, after it was set up and fully functional, he resigned from his position. It was left in the care of Aztek and his reign as Emperor began.

During Aztek's rule, NWN was shut down and the Empire was split into two games: LOE and The Realm. Aztek went to LOE and appointed 8ball the GM of the Realm division. After some time, 8ball left his rank and Alobe was appointed GM to watch over the Realm division.

Part Two; MECH's Legacy Begins on The Realm

For some time, things went well in the Realm Division, but the harmony did not last. This was partly due to the Emperors lack of presence on the Realm. Argon knew MECH had a future and made steps to ascend to the thrown. This invoked a golden age of MECH. With the Realm Division of MECH guided by Argon, Souls, Virus, Dread and Radar, the guild flourished quickly. The new empire grew to 70 plus members.

Later Argon appointed Souls to be Emperor. Souls appointed Spawn and Radar to rule as High Lords (equal to GM). The two were to run MECH as equal leaders. Souls, however, became uneasy about both of them running the Empire. Therefore, Dread was named Emperor of MECH and ruled the empire alone. This caused Spawn to split the empire and he began bringing units from LOE. Radar left the realm shortly after but he split endured for a period of time.

Dread ran the empire with a steel hand and made choices that may have been good in the long run, but were harming MECH at the time. In response to this, Souls took the reigns once again and appointed Virus as his GM. They ran MECH together and all was well for a time. Souls needed to take break from the Realm. Therefore, Virus ran the Empire from his GM rank. However, there was a dispute between the two and Virus left the empire for a short time.

Time passed and Souls appointed White to the High Lord position. Soon after, Souls stepped down from Emperor and handed control of MECH over to White. White's reign was short lived. After a few weeks he stepped down as Emperor and left to EverQuest. Souls took command once again and gave White his blessing to start a division in EQ.

Months passed and a rumor that Realm would be closed down surfaced. MECH began considering a new home. Souls, still Emperor, took a core group of units to UO, and began a division of the Empire there. This left the future of MECH in Realm uncertain.

Souls completely left Realm and only took care of the UO division. He was soon banned from UO for excessive purification. At that time, Shayd took over the UO division, as Souls had wished.

During these changes in the UO sector, Rages took over the Realm division of MECH. Shayd returned to Realm and reclaimed the division. Rages is then kicked out. Shayd watched over both divisions (UO and realm) for a short period of time. He re-instated Virus and appointed him to the GM position in order to run the guild while Shayd rested. Later, however, Virus returned to the GA position when Shayd returned to take control.

At this time, the empire begun by Spawn moved to Forgotten World. Some of those that remained in Realm joined this Empire and helped in prospering it.

Time passed and Shayd appointed Flair to GM to run the guild while he took another break. Flair however, retired to EOL and his proto, Reign, took over the GM position. After awhile, Reign resigned from GM ranking, and the spot was dissolved. Shayd returned to the run the Empire once again.

Months pass and the Empire prospers. Grimm creates a spin off of MECH and it quickly dies out; most of its units disappearing or joining the Empire. Shortly after the fall of Grimm's false Empire, another empire rises that has been created by Units Blind, Alert, and Grimm (who now disowns the creation). Led by Spite, this false Empire begins the Troubled times, Through a year of bloody fighting with the false Empire, this Empire begins to erode and Shayd appoints Exile as GM.

 

Shayd retires shortly afterward and Exile is made Emperor. Exile rules until he is hacked. Grafh, his proto, takes over as Emperor. Grafh retires shortly afterward and Shayd returns from retirement as Emperor. Ruling again for a short time, he appoints Allah as Grand Admiral. Shayd retires once again and appoints Allah as Emperor.

Allah's rule was a difficult one, due partly to the fact leadership changed hands several times in a short time, but not entirely. Some people had lost interest in TR in general and were trying new games. This made it hard to have the Empire flourish. After consulting with his HC and several Elders, Allah made the most difficult choice he would have to make during his reign. The decision was made to disband MECH. All units were asked to move to "retired" status.

After Allah disbanded MECH some units express distaste. Unit Blind, deactivating himself from the Shadow Empire, downloads his memory in the chasse of Nihil. Several meetings are held over time, each an attempt to start the empire again. Only one of them is successful. That meeting was led Nihil, members of the meeting decide that Nihil should lead.

Emperor Nihil begins his reign with appointing Rocky to Grand Admiral. Nihil receives Shayd's blessing to rebuild the Empire shortly afterward. Later Rocky retires and Error is appointed GA. Nihil leaves Realm for some time due to OOC problems, and appoints Sorin to the GM position to run the Empire in his absence. Sorin reactivates many older units and continues to work on the rebuilding process.

Nihil returns to the Realm and soon retires, appointing Sorin Emperor of the Empire. Sorin continues the rebuilding process and redeems some of the honor of the MECH title. After a few months of being Emperor, Sorin takes an LOA status for some time. Grand Admiral Reign is appointed to High Lord of the empire.

Emperor Sorin returns to the Realm full time and High Lord Reign retires to become an Elder of Legend. Shortly after his return, a third MECH Empire forms in the Realm, this Empire is a spin off of the false one. It is formed of units who have become tired of the lies and dishonor the false Empire has put before them.

Emperor of this empire, Unit Duels (aka Coils), approaches Emperor Sorin in an attempt to unite the two empires for one cause: purifying the Realm of flesh and destroying the Shadow (false) Empire to regain the full honor the MECH title once held. The empires become one. The united empire, under command of Emperor Sorin and new Commanders of the united empire, works to purify the Realm of the false Empire.

Later Emperor Sorin works on an Ulitma Online Expansion of the Empire and appoints Nihil as High Lord of the Realm Division. Shortly after Nihil retires to EoL and for the time being the division remains idle.

Emperor Sorin appoints Grand Admiral Count and Judge Storm to investigate Star Wars Galaxies for worthy purifications. The report shows that the game will be more than worthy of our presence. Emperor Sorin appoints Count as High Lord of the SWG Division and Storm as Grand Admiral of the division. The two units start on their work of setting up the expansion of the empire upon the opening of the game.

Several weeks later, Emperor Sorin appoints Storm as High Lord of the Realm Division. Grand Admiral Count steps down and Storm becomes the Grand Admiral of The Realm division and High Lord of the SWG Division

After months of being the UO Division being idle, Woken is appointed as HL. Woken begins his work in UO with a small core group. After appointing Storm to emperor of the Empire, Sorin retires to Elder of Legend. Emperor Storm starts his reign. His first order of business is appointing Flash to Grand Admiral. After that he starts preparing a core group for travel to SWG in the future months. Meanwhile, Field Commander Flair takes control over the UO Division and starts the recruiting process. Due to his workload in the world known as Real Life, Storm retires and appoints Skies in his place as Emperor. Grand Admiral Count steps down and Storm becomes the Grand Admiral of The Realm division and High Lord of the SWG Division.  Flair retires back to Elder of Legend and Skies appoints Fever Field Commander of UO. In addition, Skies appoints Storm Field Commander of Star Wars Galaxies. Soon after, Skies steps down as Emperor and hands the thrown to Fever, making her Empress of MECH Empire. Fever's first decisions involve terminating the Field Commander position and appointing Shayd Guild Master of Realm.

Part Three; "Shadow Empire"

Building the Empire from scratch, Reapr forced Spite become Emperor and to appoint him High Lord. Eventually, Spite was forced retire to Elder of Legend status and forced to turn over the empire to his High Lord. Reapr, closed the High Lord position, and kept Grand Admiral Liche in his position. While the Empire thrived, Shayd appointed Unit Exile as his new Emperor and retires to EoL. Soon after Exile desides to step down allowing Shayd to reclaim the thrown. Shayd then decided to retire once more leaving the Dark Empire to Allah. Reapr lead the empire into war with the "Dark Empire" causing the second Civil war. The war ends with Allah disbanding his Empire. Reapr and his Empress (Evils) end their relatonship in real life, thus causing Reapr to quit The Realm, Upon this Evils runs the Empire solo. Some time passes and she Links with Goofy, Goofy quit The Realm. Then Blain, Blain shows his worth and she breaks her link with him. Cabal is her next choice, Cabal shows more interest in the Empire and recruits a few Units and starts to build the Empire back up from almost disbandment, Cabal leaves The Realm due to active military duty in real life. Some time passes and Evils links with Faust (Original Nihil), who helped build the Empire up to it's current status. Faust hears of Evils past links and deactivates her on grounds of breaking what is said on our charter, He very soon after Reinstates her to Empress, And deactivates himself. Evils then takes mercy on him and reinstates Faust as Emperor.

Part Four; Skies Empire

Soon after Fever Disbanding, Skies rejoins with Empress Evils. Being displeased with the way shes running her Empire he starts his own Empire, appointing Fight to GA. Skies Empire lasts about 2 weeks, and is disbanded with most of his Units joining Emperor Squib (Grimm).

Part Five; Pure Empire

Being displeased with the current state of MECH on The Realm Online, Emperor Squib (Grimm) sets out with a goal to rebuild MECH. Recruiting Sober (Given) and Smite (Creep) he sets out and recruits many more. After a brief period Sober is Promoted to Admiral of Purifications thus proving her worth in this field. Smite, after sitting a brief inactive period as EoL, is promoted to Grand Admiral. Unit Speed had a brief moment as Admiral of Training, thus again showing his true colors, he is banned from the Pure Empire. Following the charter to the fullest amount, this "Pure Empire" would prove it's legacy in due time. Sadly, the Pure Empire was disbanded not long after its original creation.

Part 6, Pure Empire Reborn

After Disbanding, and a short time passes, the Pure Empire was reborn under Emperor Gohan and Grand Admrial Squib. With the help of Unit Dench, recrutements were made and the Empire began again in full swing. The empire's goal? To return MECH to its rightful position and place within Realm, and to Perminatly distroy the Shadow Empire. Following the Pure Charter, the new and improved Empire will show what TRUE MECH means. After a time, Emperor Gohan stepped down, moving to EoL position. Grand Admrial Squib then became Emperor. He sent two of his best units, Admrial of Purifications Veela and Admiral of War Dench, to search out a new medium to expand the empire and to purify as many flesh like sentients as possible.

Part 7, The Pure empire expands to City of Heros

Dench and Veela stumbled upon the realm of City of Heros and decided that this was where they wished to establish a division of the Pure Empire for their Emperor, Squib. They begain preperations, and only time will tell what will happen.
