Flight Specifications:

Over time the Flights of the MECH Empire have each developed their own unique personality and outlook on the MECH goal of Total Dominance over the realms. Each take's this goal as their own and alters it to fit their needs, though not so much as to dest roy the Unity of the Empire as a whole. Though some flights may seem to clash with one another personality wise, each Member of each Flight knows that every MECH plays a part in the domination of Neverwinter. From Many, One as the saying from an Ancient Human Civilization goes...MECH is many, but MECH is MECH. United in Purpose. United in Blood.

THE EMPIRE'S GOALS:

-Purify the Realms of all inferiors

-Assimilate those worthy to be MECH

-Destroy/Obliterate those that oppose

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1st Flight, Napalm Monks

Napalm - <Flamable/Volatile substance>

Monk - <Devout member of Religious Sect>

Always faithful and loyal, the Napalm Monks strive to create a better world for their brethren. Their Loyalty is unquestioned. They will always put the lives of their brothers and sisters before that of their own. Though they strive for a peaceful world, the Monks achieve that in a most unusual way. Purification is the means to that ends. And they use it like the early Christians used the Crusades. Their motto...Peace thru Purification...and their battle cry...The Fire Cleanses...tells of the Monks as fighters and not only Devout Religious Leaders. Though they may seem fanatical, the Monks are entirely the opposite. Their Manner is cool and calm at most times, but extremely Volatile when battle nears. Fierce fighters and Protectors.

CHARACTERISTICS:

-Extremely Loyal

-Peaceable

-Volatile

-Faithful to the Empire

-Reserved/Collected

-Studious.

QUALITIES:

-Leadership

-Strive for Perfection of the Purified Soul

-Some reclusive attitudes.

2nd Flight, Emerald Falcons

Emerald - <Hard, Cold, Precious Stone>

Falcon - <Bird of Prey, Hunter>

The Emerald Falcons are the core of the Empire's Armies. Stone cold and lacking of emotion, these Falcons prey on those that would stand against the might of MECH. They are the best of the best; the elite Warrior. Where the Napalm Monks strive for th e perfection of the purified soul, the Emerald Falcons strive for perfection of their honed battle skills. These MECHs are hardly ever seen within the Empire Complex itself, they are out on patrol or on the hunt for foes. The Enemy is no match for these swift killers. Their Motto is....Only the Strong survive. And rightly so...they are the Strong and the enemy dies in droves by their hands.

CHARACTERISTICS:

-Emotionless killers

-Elite Warriors

-Glory Hounds

-Revel in death and destruction

-Masters of the Killing Art.

QUALITIES:

-Strive for Perfection in War

-Death and Killing is an Art to the Emerald

-They have no Equals.

3rd Flight: Shadow Mercs

Shadow - <To hide, Follow, Spirit/Ghost/Shade>

Merc - <Mercenary, Underhanded>

To suggest that the Shadow Mercs have no honor would be to find yourself with a knife imbedded in your spinal cord. Honor means nothing to the Mercs...it is a means to an end, just like everything else they use or disuse. The Mercs have long been u sed as hired thugs, Assasins and spies. Their skill at stealth and subterfuge has no equal in the Empire. They will attain the goals of the MECH Empire by any means necessary. Valor, they do not seek. For they rarely accept more then a thank you for their efforts. They revel in the hunt and the kill, the stealth and the attack, not in the glory received. As long as the Empire flourishes, they will enjoy living in the shadows. Their Motto is...Beware of that which you can not see.

CHARACTERISTICS:

-Stealth

-Subterfuge

-Revelers in the Rush and not the glory

-Humble yet Proud of their abilities, confident.

QUALITIES:

-Excellent Thieves, Assasins, Spies

-Often retire to Ambassadorial duties

-Strive for perfection in Subterfuge... Mind over Force.

4th Flight: Sapphire Scourge

Sapphire - <Brilliant,Precious,Hard/Abrasive>

Scourge - <Afflict or Punish Severely>

There is a general attitude among the Empire that each flight is the best and above the others in favor to the Emperor or to Gond. Among the Sapphire Scourge, that attitude is indeed present. To say the Scourge are Vain would be an understatement. Attitude makes the MECH as they might say. These MECH are among the most brilliant and creative in the Empire. Research and Development is their specialty, but when it comes to War, the Scourge are among the first to reach the lines and punish those that oppose. To afflict Pain...cause severe if not fatal damage....Be hard and perceive your foe as fodder, the Sapphire Scourge are the Judge, Jury and Executioner of MECH foes.

CHARACTERISTICS:

-Intelligent

-Omnipotent

-Egotistical

-Hard and Unyielding.

QUALITIES:

-MECH R&D

-Boasters of deeds

-Extreme Loyalty to the Cause

-Strive to create the Undefeatable MECH Weapons and Defensive systems

5th Flight: Seraphic Malice

Seraphic - <Angel of highest rank, pure, sublime>

Malice - <Active ill will, harmful, evil intent>

To call these MECHs humble would be a gross lie. The Seraphics are the 'Pure' Warriors of MECH. Shock troops in essence, these MECH are the first to reach the battle field and begin the Purification or Extermination of the lessers. They proudly de fend their brothers and are perfectly willing to give their lives to the cause of MECH domination if the need arises. They are a thorn in the side of the lesser beings of this realm. Malicians hold no remorse whatsoever for their actions. They do, simply, what is best for the Empire. One of, if not the, least emotional of the flights, they do their job....and they do it well. Seraphics will go out of their way to purify, as one of the only feelings of enjoyment MECHs experience is that of combat and the kill. Malicians are often heard quoting one particular phrase....Death to the Nonbelievers.

CHARACTERISTICS:

-Chaotic/Harmonic

-Proud and Loyal

-Unremorseful

-Lofty

-Grand

QUALITIES:

-Excellent Tactictians and Strategians

-Long to bring MECH to its rightful place as Lord of the Realms.

-Extremely loyal, and will often take orders to the letter, so be careful what you ask them to do, you may get results you hadn't intended.

6th Flight: Crescent Hawks

Crescent- <Increasing in force, Intense>

Hawk - <Bird of Prey, Advocate of War>

Any attempt to scour the MECH archives for a War NOT initiated or instigated by the Crescent Hawks would be a fruitless endeavor. These MECHs take the Purification of the Realms to an extreme, starting Wars with little cause but stepping across thei r path. To War is to To Live as the Hawks would say and they mean it. Only in War is the True power of the Empire lived. Only in War is the means justified. Death comes for those that cross the Hawks path, for they prey on the susceptible. At times it becomes difficult for the Emperor or leading Admirals to hold back these MECHs. Always ready for action or to start some if none be present, the Emperor must keep these MECHs on a short leash or find the Empire facing every Army in the Realms.

CHARACTERISTICS

-Head Strong and Rash

-Need no excuse to War

-Slow to think and Quick to act

-Fanatics of Purification.

QUALITIES

-Strive to create a Realm Wide War where MECH dominates the field

-Though their behavior seems rash, the Hawks intuitive feeling of peoples and Armies give them an edge in councils and wars. They act not on intellect, but on raw emotion and gut feelings.

7th Flight: Metal Demons

Metal - <i.e. Mettal: Ardor, Spirit, Courage>

Demons - <Daemon, Genius, Devil, Energetic, Skillful>

An Emperor was once heard saying..."Those that are unworthy of Assimilation shall be fed to the Demons."...and thus it became fact. The unworthy and incapable become fodder to the Metal Demons. These Fervent MECHs personally take on the obliteration of everything that can not be assimilated. It is therefore ironic, that the Demons make the best trainers. Their spirit and skill are models to the Cadets and even to some of the Officers. They may enjoy the destruction of the unworthy, but when it comes time for training or when War is declared...their Ardor for destruction is contained, but ready to be released upon command of the Emperor. However, like the Seraphic Malice, these MECHs will take orders to the letter and again misunderstandings may arise. Their Motto...Death Awaits ye of Little Faith

CHARACTERISTICS

-Devilish

-Playful

-Fervent almost to the point of Fanaticism

-Contained Ardor

-Loyal to MECH and obedient to the Emperor

QUALITIES

-Seek to Perfect the Unworthy's Obliteration with pain

-Take Orders Verbatim

-Their Patience and attention to detail make these inteligent skilled MECHs worthy trainers and Mentors.

8th Flight: Immortals

Immortal - <exempt from death, enduring, lasting fame>

There has often been mention of a price paid for immortality, for that eternal continuation of the soul. For the MECH, Immortality is a truth to be lived as long as its systems stay intact and operational. As long as that remains, the MECH will liv e forever...but the flesh will not. The Immortals paid a heavy price...None of their Humanity remains. The soul or what used to be called a soul is present inside the Immortals Metal Alloy Frame. These are the true Androids of MECH. Not a shred of flesh remains...it was their choice, their Immortal longing, to shed their Humanity in order to purify their soul. The Immortals, therefore, over the years, have lost touch with what emotion was. They've become cold and logical...unfeeling and deadly. Death is of no consequence to them...and neither is the flesh. All Flesh must be consumed in the Purification. To Live is to Die.

CHARACTERISTICS

-Unfeeling

-Painless

-Fully Mechanical/no flesh remaining except possibly synthetics.

QUALITIES

-Strive to remove all signs of Humanity

-Slightly off balance mentally

-Extremely Powerful Killers

-Quirky
